Summary
For hundreds of years, Jungkook has made it so his weaknesses could not be touched, could not be used against him. Hundreds of years, a small dent in his eternal life, and its snapped and tugged away from him in one night.
When Yoongi had freed him all of those years ago, he swore to never let another person put a hold on him. He swore to never let himself bind to anyone, let them use him as they please.

Vampires can be enslaved/bound by an object they hold dear to them. These are usually worn by their master (or they just wear a few and command one of the vampires to guard the other items).
Taehyung (at age 8) makes the mistake of getting Jungkook’s ring back. Jungkook kills his whole family and spares Taehyung to return the favor.
Years pass, and they meet again when Taehyung grows up. Jungkook had already forgotten about the incident but Taehyung had not.]

Absolutely incredible. Such an amazing twist on a story, which is so often with A’s works. Absolutely beautifully told and I couldn’t stop reading it.
Still think about this story all the time and remember how it made me feel.
