    Time travel was complicated. It was pretty damn near impossible, really, and the Chronicom time stream could only help to one extent. Which was probably the reason why they’d found themselves in this situation in the first place. And as soon as the white blast retreated back into the time stream in the hollow of his palm, Fitz let out a shaky breath, eyes searching around in panic.
    “Jemma!?”
    “Fitz,” Jemma whispered from behind him, her arms tightening around Alya’s little body. She seemed fine, from what he could see, but his heart jumped in his chest all the same. “Did we just…?”
    Fitz let the time stream fall to the floor noisily and rushed to Jemma’s side, cradling his little girl’s face in his hands to check for any injuries. “Yeah. Yeah, I think we did. We just jumped back in time.”

    Set during season 7. Fitz and Jemma try to work on the time stream, and find themselves unexpectedly sent back to the future, and straight onto the bus.
