Jun on a bench, headphones in, waiting for Joshua, with the autumn light falling through the trees and onto the beautiful bend of his head. Every odd compliment Joshua has swallowed back, because you don’t just say things like that, unless you’re Minghao. Or maybe Hansol. Every instance in which Joshua has looked at him and felt peace, a sense of rightness, an echoing recognition. Jun smiles at him and it’s familiar; they love each other the same, know each other the same.

Because Joshua never got like this. Not in front of anyone as of late. He was always so soft spoken (other than when he argues with Seungcheol and Seungkwan), and almost always kept himself in check. And yet here he was, still reeling from the aftereffects from the recording buzzed, flushed and grinding into Minghao’s lap like it was the only thing tethering him to the earth.
So, Minghao decided to indulge him. A little. Maybe for his own sick satisfaction as well.
