It hurts to see Max, Daniel's old teammate, the one who Red Bull had so blatantly favored, beating him, beating almost everyone, not dropping below second for the whole race. It hurts to see that they were right.
But they aren’t teammates anymore, just two drivers a million miles apart. Max is competing for wins, for titles and glory and the spotlight, for champagne to spray. And Daniel doesn’t even know what he’s competing for anymore.
