It’s more metaphorical than anything. He hasn’t looked away from Phil long enough to really know. But really, everything has been spinning for a while now, ever since he stepped off that train.

Phil had been good. He’d been funny and entertaining, and he’d tied Dan’s cheap-ass garter on his gorgeously plush thigh without so much as a wayward nip to the skin that was all but begging for it. Now, the sweet smell of baked goods is wafting through the air, and there's something edible on the kitchen counter, and the end screen is filmed, and Phil is no longer interested in being good.
“Dan,” he says, voice tight in his throat.
