He was proud of himself for only taking two tries. Then panic set in. He stared at the screen. He had time to delete it; Pedri hadn’t viewed it yet. But not even a minute later—maybe it was longer; time went by differently when he was drunk—the two ticks became blue, which meant that Pedri was indeed on his phone and that he had seen the messages. Too late to take it back now.
Ferran is drunk, and maybe he should stay away from his phone. Except that he can't.
