    Summary

When Jaskier is young, he is sold to a slaver to solve his parents' problems with money.
He ends up at the royal court of Tretogor, a gold-collared bedslave, reserved for the royal line. Unlike the others, Jaskier doesn't settle into his fate, but rebels in what little ways he can.
It's no wonder then, that when the warlord of the north visits Tretogor for negotiations, Jaskier finds himself in the middle of it all.

His mother's face is sad, and Julian wishes more than anything he could change that. She tucks a lock of his soft brown hair behind his ear.
“Remember how you said you wanted to help?”
    Julian nods.
“There’s someone who… is coming to take a look at you. If you do well, we’ll get enough to pay the rent that’s still due. If we’re very lucky, we’ll get enough to buy back the farm.”
“What do I have to do?” Julian asks.
A tear tracks down his mother’s cheek.

    Summary

“Seriously, brother,” Teodora says, “you’re wanted for treason, what in Melitele’s name did you do?”

“Nothing,” Jaskier tells her. “It’s just that my soulmate’s the warlord of the north.”

She stares at him, open-mouthed. And then she begins to giggle. “Only you, Julek,” she says when she finally has some control back. “You did always like to be dramatic.”

The four lives of Julian Alfred Pankratz: noble, sex slave, soulmate, bard.

    Summary

Jaskier doesn’t actually know how much time has passed since the black-cloaked Nilfgaardians grab him after a performance in a shitty tavern in the backcountry of northern Kaedwen. He’d assumed--foolishly, apparently--that he was far enough north that any Nilfgaardian soldiers would be few and far between, likely just scouts or even deserters. It would have been hard to actually get any further north--the little backwater town where he’d been singing was just a day from the mountains. Anymore travel, and he’d find himself skirting the Trail up to Kaer Morhen, the Warlord’s Keep, and, well. He’s brazen, but not that brazen.

(or: a wandering bard bites off more than he can chew with the political ballads, accidentally makes friends with a princess in exile, and finds the Warlord of the North in his debt.)

    Summary

"Oh, you must be fun at parties," the guy replied, stuffing a washing machine full with his clothes. He used the machine closest to the floor and kept bending over on straight legs to grab another armful of his clothes instead of crouching down like a normal person. His ass in the tight leggings stood out prominently and Geralt turned his gaze away quickly.

"I don't... I don't go to parties," he blurted out, not really knowing why he kept replying to the guy.

"Shame." The guy moved to the vending machine, threw in some coins and picked the little package of fabric softener with sheer disgust in his face. "The wildest things happen at parties. You see shit you wouldn't believe was possible."

Geralt let out a condescending snort. Out of all the people in a hundred miles radius there was nobody who's seen more unbelievable shit than Geralt.

    OR
A modern-day witcher in a world where people stopped believing in magic and monsters is trying to do his laundry in peace. He won't have that wish granted, though. It seems, unfortunately, that an annoying laundry companion will be the least of Geralt's problems.
