Summary
Their nights together have a preestablished pattern, nowadays, and even though Wilhelm has always liked having a routine, even he can admit that this is a tiny bit too much.
Of course, it's not always been like that. Their evenings used to be filled with giggles and laughter, with them messing up the private kitchen as they cooked pasta at midnight, or with random heated glances that inevitably led to mind-blowing sex in any angle of Wilhelm's wing – or even outside of it, in some instances. They used to be happy, and careless, and crazy in love with one another, and while Wilhelm still feels the same way, he sometimes wonders how exactly they got to the point they are now.
Because even though Simon is currently lying in bed next to him, his head on Wilhelm's shoulder and his arm draped over his abdomen, and he just placed a small kiss on his neck before whispering “Good night” in his ear, he feels aloof and dejected and Wilhelm has no idea what to do about it.

Summary
If someone had told him he’d become addicted to watching a 24/7 stream of puppies and their mother, Wilhelm would have laughed. Yet here he is. More and more often he opens the stream, mostly to check up on the cute little things. But a part of him checks the stream in hopes of catching who he presumes is the owner. Hopes that he might get to hear the man hum, or even sing, again. Might get to see more than just gentle hands and feet.
Or, Wilhelm ends up falling in love with a puppy he sees on a live stream. The more he talks to the owner, the more Wilhelm starts to feel something for him too. And chances are the feeling is mutual.

Carefully coming to stand behind Simon, Wilhelm grinned and slowly brought the mistletoe out from behind his back to hold up over their heads. Then, he leaned in to whisper against the back of the other’s neck, “I’m home.”
What happened next was a far cry from the romantic reaction that he had anticipated.

Summary
“Hello, I’m Doctor Larsson,” he introduces himself as he steps closer, “Can you tell me your name and age, please?”
Simon blinks a few times to focus, then replays the question in his head and feels unjustifiably annoyed by it. “My name is Simon Eriksson, I’m twenty-eight, I was born in Bjärstad but I’ve lived here in Stockholm for the past, like, ten years. I’m here because I’ve just been in a car accident in which an asshole ran straight into my car at a red light, most probably because they were on their phone even if I can’t prove it. I only have a slight headache because I bumped my head back against headrest in the impact, but other than that I’m totally fine.” Simon sees Doctor Larsson progressively raise his eyebrows in surprise during his outburst, but doesn’t really give it much thought as he points at the chart in his hands instead. “Of course, you already knew all that because I’m sure it’s all written in there, but I thought I would make this quicker for the both of us.”

TLDR: 5 times Simon and Wilhelm meet in the examination room of an ER + 1 time one of them makes sure they don’t. At Christmas.
