Being a listener has no perks, not in this world, until something odd happens. When Jimmy isn't the first to die, his sister Lizzie is, she doesn't stay dead, at least not fully. Lizzie falls back into the world, with no memory, no clue how she's there, and no real idea of what to do. Martyn doesn't know if he can trust her, and she doesn't know how to convince him with no memory. She also can't leave his side - if she tries, she gets shoved back to his side by.. something. Nobody else can see or hear her, and who'd believe Martyn? So what do you do when the dead start talking?
