Summary
**SPOILERS FOR THE END OF SEASON 2**
Earlier today, the adrenaline still pumping in their veins, the sun high in the sky, all seemed light and full of promise. Poguelandia, their personal paradise, away from the gold and the cross and psycho murderers on the loose. They built a fire, they grilled some fish, life was good.
Then nightfall came, and things got quiet. They gathered around the fire to fend off the cold seeping into their bones through their still-damp clothes. Slowly, one by one, the rest of the group had let the mad rush of the day catch up with them, sleep winning them over even on the rough surface of the beach.
JJ can’t sleep, though.

Summary
They could have bought literally anything they wanted, when the gold came in. A giant camper van, a whole ass tiny house – hell, they could have bought a jet plane if they wanted to. What they ended up settling on was an old, sturdy, late ‘90s Airstream van they found on Craigslist. Converted it themselves, built all the interior features, the tiny kitchenette, the shower room.
They have a big hammock on the back that unhooks easily and doesn’t take up any precious space. On the warm, clear nights they leave the backdoors wide open, swing out the hammock and lay there, watching the stars as they fall asleep.
After the gold comes in, JJ and Kie need to get out from the OBX. It’s finally time for their surf trip.

“C’mon, Rocky, let’s get you properly cleaned up.”“Jay, I’m fine,” she told him tiredly and she ignored how Sarah scoffed. She pulled at her shirt the same way John B had done, jerked when the fabric stuck to the drying blood that stained her side.
JJ laughed humourlessly, flashed his teeth at her in a grin that showed no mercy. “Like hell you are, Kie, now move before I make you.”
Kie gets herself into a fight and JJ is there to patch her up, of course. In fact, JJ's the only one she'll let help her. A collection of JJ and Kiara patching each other up after their daily disasters.
