Despite a successful mission, Ava and Walker ended up stuck together in a destroyed base. Leaving is not an option, so they had to wait for a rescue and try not to kill each other. But caring for someone you should hate you’re supposed to hate isn’t so hard for John Walker.

After a nightmare wakes Yelena in the middle of the night, she finds herself seeking out the one person in the Watch Tower who might understand.
Neither Bob nor Yelena intend to spend most of their nights talking. Neither did they intend for talking to turn into something else.
But then again, neither of them have been particularly good at dealing with feelings.
