Summary
Everything in Sean's life is going good-adjacent. As in, nobody is actively dying or going into serious debt. But, his dad caught a bad cold a couple years ago. That cold turned out to be a serious mystery illness that left Esteban in the care of his ex-wife's parents and Sean himself. Balancing work, art school, Daniel and his dad... Sean is totally one step away from a serious breakdown. As if right on time, Sean meets Finn at a party and gets his whole life turned upside down.
( An alternate universe where Daniel never, ever touched the corn syrup and red food coloring! I think Sean would be kind of a dick if that never happened... just because he would be a little bit sheltered. So this is a really lowkey enemies to lovers where Finn teaches him that even kinda-homeless punks are worthy of love and some sex (and pining))
