“Hey kid, sorry I didn't see you there. How can I help you?”
The kid shoots up and he looks scared out of his mind for a second before scowling. “I’m not a fuckin’ kid,” he snaps. Wilbur laughs softly, the kids eyes are blue, they remind him of Phil.
“Right, how can I help you?”
The kids’ bristling demeanor dies down instantly and he looks suddenly much more nervous. The kids posture is shit, Wilbur notices, his shoulders are up and slouched over his chest almost protectively. He starts fidgeting with sleeves of his shirt and he quickly but quietly pulls out a five dollar bill, he slides it across the bar to Wilbur.
“Could I have a- could I get a-“ He pauses, shakes his head and looks up.
“Hamburger and sweet potato fries,” He says it with a confident voice but scared eyes and body language.or phil, techno, and wilbur own a diner and tommy becomes a regular customer. one found family arc later and they adopt him

Daddy was very funny with those silly little jokes, but Tommy had no time for them. He quickly tugged on Daddy’s shirt, and Daddy stopped joking, looking down at Tommy in surprise.
“I’m sorry, can you wait a moment?” Daddy said. “It won’t take more than a moment.” He put down the phone and looked down at Tommy. "What's up?"
Tommy scowled. “Mrs. Puffy said we should be nice to our guests, but you have him locked in the basement!”

Summary
This was not how Medkit wanted his afternoon to go. He would’ve been fine with spending the rest of his day like he always did, paperwork with nothing special to it and anticipating any plans for gear modification until it was time to get back home. In fact, he would've been fine with anything else happening other than this string of events that now had him on the road to Playground. He didn’t want to check his phone to see a string of concerning text messages from Boombox, spelling out a horrible idea that couldn't have led to anything good.
or, good things never last long. Boombox and Medkit face their biggest challenge yet, leaving them to overcome it together, or fall together.

Summary
Medkit had gotten so swept up in making sure he had everything they needed for dinner that he’d forgotten to check the forecast and see if the chance for rain had risen. He’d thought about it after everything was set up and then Boombox showed up, and of course his boyfriend’s presence was distracting enough to keep Medkit from checking the weather like he should’ve done sooner as he moved around the kitchen and helped get things together.
or, Medbox was having a night-in style date when it started storming, and Medkit would rather get struck by lightning than let Boombox go out into the storm. Of course, the best compromise was Boombox staying the night.
