Summary
Dean is a baker, he is content with his life, and he is losing his mind over the baby next door. For the past week, the baby has been crying for five full minutes at the top of their pitch, every. single. night. The walls are way too thin. He thinks he might go insane.
Dean offers to help; he's good with babies.
“Help?” The man says incredulously. He says it like the word is something dirty. “What help? What help would I possibly acquire from you, Dean? I take extraordinary care of Jack. I do everything by protocol. You are condescending and arrogant to assume otherwise. Who are you to judge that I need help and that you can provide that help? I think it is you who need help if you genuinely think I will accept any help from a stranger regarding my child. Excuse me.”

Summary
Closely follows the lyrics of Conan Gray's "Best Friend."
Cas is 22, is gay, and has been in love with his best friend Dean since childhood. Dean is straighter than an arrow. There's no way Cas will risk his friendship. He'd rather shove his love down his own throat than to risk it all.
That is, until something happens.
It hurts, it hurts him so much. Cas is not avoiding looking at Dean anymore, he’s letting his eyes look at anything over the window, and his heart is stomped upon by Dean’s worn-out combat boots. The boots that Cas used to try on and let Dean do the laces on them, Dean kneeling in front of him without preamble, like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Cas remembers looking at the top of his head, looking at it and thinking that, that’s where my heart is, in this scrunched-over six-feet beauty who’s on his knees in the middle of the sidewalk, doing up his laces unasked, just because Cas wanted to try them out.
It was devastation from the get-go. Heartbreak in a beautiful package. The burning flame to his moth.
The most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

Summary
Coming on to night shift was no different as far as Maggie was concerned than a daytime one. Oh, she knew that plenty of other nurses hated the night shift, had trouble sleeping, dealing with the ruckus of the drunken patients but it had never bothered her. The only really difference for Maggie was her caffeine intake and that increased plenty as the night went on.

Summary
The mother was apparently poisoned, the son seems to have killed himself playing Russian roulette. It's a murder and a suicide. Or is it a suicide and a murder?
At least the case is distracting John from the fact that sex with Sherlock was probably a mistake right from the start.
John will learn to cope, one way or another.

Summary
One of the first things John did was to write up step-by-step instructions on how to conduct a proper job interview before handing it over to Mycroft for his perusal. There were no kidnapping, deserted car parks or stolen therapy notes anywhere on that list.
(Or the one where John returned from the war and ended up working for Mycroft as his personal assistant slash doctor on retainer. Everything was fine, until he was sent to post bail for one Sherlock Holmes.)

Summary
New job, new truck, new fiancée... John Watson, former storm chaser, has settled into a comfortable new life.
There's only one problem: John's already married. And the the divorce papers he's been sending to his former partner, Sherlock Holmes, keep going missing. So with his fiancée Mary by his side, John reluctantly makes a trip to see him in the hopes of finalizing their divorce once and for all.
But John arrives in the midst of a very active storm season, and Sherlock very clearly hasn’t let go of the past. Against his better judgement, John finds himself talked into riding along after one last storm.
