There’s a squeak. Natsuo’s and Fuyumi’s eyes widen.
“Don’t worry,” Hawks reassures. “I lived.”
“Stubborn bastard,” Dabi grumbles almost immediately. He lifts the bowl to sip broth. “I threw him out a window.”
“I lived then, too,” Hawks reassures before they can have another scandalized gasp. “Don’t worry. It’s how he shows his affection.”

Post-war, Todoroki Touya is pardoned from his crimes, while Hawks gains a new title: the Dabi Whisperer.

“Touya-nii!” The voice says and it’s undoubtedly the voice of 5 year-old Todoroki Shouto. The voice of his little brother.
“Touya?” Hawks questions as he tries to piece together why the name is being said.
“Touya-nii, you’re so big!” Shouto says in awe as he hurries over to where Dabi’s standing.
Dabi’s legs give out. He’s overwhelmed by the image of little Shouto running to him. The tousled red and white hair, his ice blue and gray eyes, the soft skin of his unscarred face. It nullifies Dabi. Suddenly, he can only remember being Touya.AKA a fic where Shouto gets hit by a de-aging quirk and Endeavor charges Hawks with watching him until the quirk wears off, featuring Hawks' terrible child caring skills (thanks to his own terrible childhood) and a Todoroki sibling reunion

Inevitably, Valir’s eyes fell on the tattoo etched onto Vale’s back; something he’d seen countless times before, but never really looked at until now. The skin there was smooth and warm, the ink deep against the dark tone of Vale’s back. Without thinking, his thumb pressed down lightly on one of the dots.
‘’Ah-!’’
The sound tore out of Vale before he had any chance of suppressing it, sharp and sudden like a breath caught on a moan.
Valir blinked, then blinked again. His brain practically short-circuited for a few seconds. He leaned up quickly, eyes narrowing as he tried to peer over Vale’s shoulders, though the other man’s face remained turned away, stubbornly angled towards the wall.

A sudden, suffocating wave of darkness, as though the very room had folded in on itself. A mere second later Valir was slammed down into cold stone, breath stolen from his lungs. The weight that pinned him down felt like a mountain, the heavy coils of the serpent’s tail tightly wrapped around his torso, chest, and thighs, in a grip so powerful one more squeeze felt like it would shatter him.
He couldn’t move, couldn’t breathe. A cough rattled out of his chest.
But worse, stranger than all of it, was what Valir saw when he finally forced his eyes to look up.
It was a face.
