Or, Lando, a globally recognized pop star managing the intense demands of his career, and Oscar, a Formula One driver currently dominating the World Driver's Championship, both desperately needed a week's break. Coincidentally, they both chose the same secluded location for their much-needed break from the spotlight.
Even though neither man had actually seen or interacted with the other during their overlapping vacation, the simple fact of their shared location quickly triggered immediate and widespread speculation. The media and fans soon fabricated a rumored relationship between the pop star and the formula one driver.

The problem with trying to get over Lando was that he was everywhere, even when he wasn’t around.
That, he supposed, was the problem with falling in love with your roommate, especially one as close as he and Lando were. They were practically inseparable most days, falling in and out of each other’s orbits with practiced ease. Even when they weren’t together at the flat, their belongings and habits had become so irrevocably entwined that sometimes he forgot what it was like to live without him. It had been that way for years now, and honestly, Oscar didn’t know how to separate the two of them without losing a large part of himself in the process.

Summary
He was sharing the car to the airport with Oscar, but the trip was a rather silent affair.
Truthfully, Lando could not blame Oscar. It was actually his own fault ; turns out, when your teammate has to hear you getting fucked next door, it can dampen the mood and turn everything particularly awkward. So, he apologized profusely.
They had a few days to unwind before the next race, and bar the late night overthinking sessions, Lando pushed aside the incident. He’d apologized for it, and even if Oscar had still looked a bit unwell afterwards, surely he would be over it by the next race, right ?
