Sonia can’t help a giggle. Who knew the Supreme Overlord of Ice was such a gentleman? She shakes her head, though, reaching out to take Gundham’s scarf from his hand, careful that their fingers don’t brush as she takes over smoothing it out for him.
“Why don’t we share the bed?” Sonia suggests. “It should be plenty big enough for you not to take the couch. I wouldn’t want you to be uncomfortable while you are doing me a favour.”
And in fact, in that regard, it would probably be better if Sonia asked someone else—but she’s still adverse to the idea of troubling a reserve student, and among the boys in her class, Gundham is the only one she trusts enough to share a room with. In subsequent years, she might think about staying with Amami—odds are the man might not even be in town for much of her stay—but…
