Summary
Suguru’s moods are like the rainy season, Satoru muses; more darkness, more often. Thunderstorms dance across his facial features, complete with the quaking ( of his shoulders ) and the shadows ( over his face ).
But that’s it, right?— it’s meant to pass. Seasons come and go. Yet Suguru only isolates himself more, pulling further and further away.
Satoru and Suguru failed a mission. Far from their best moment, sure— but it'll pass. They'll get over it, get stronger, be better.
After all, if Satoru can do it, so can Suguru. They're the strongest, after all. He's sure he just needs a little help.

Summary
Suguru's brought home three cats on impulse, and Satoru thinks, okay, yeah, sure, why not? The kids are all at their dorms at Jujutsu High, and it's far from the first time Suguru's bleeding heart winds up compelling him to bring home and adopt a couple of poor souls, so might as well.
Only problem?
These cats hate Satoru. Capital "h" Hate. Loath, despise, whatever you wanna call it. Worst thing is— Suguru is totally oblivious.
Damn his bleeding heart.

Suguru Getou works the morning shift at his local third-wave coffee cafe. His needs are minimal, and his dreams are simple. His mundane life may not be for everyone, but he’s plenty satisfied with it; he’s not really searching for anything more than that.
Suguru Getou is not a greedy person.
That is— until a stranger, some Satoru Gojou, barges in his life, insisting that they’re soulmates, destined to be with one another, bound by fate, etc etc etc.
Suguru has never met the damn man in his life.

satoru gojo is seventeen years old when he kills suguru geto.
his hands tremble when he angles his index and ring finger towards the familiar back of the only boy who’d ever seen him, really seen him, but presently satoru tells himself it’s because of all the billions of trillions of atoms shaking within the confines of his impossible self, aching, begging, pleading to be unleashed–
and unleashed they are, as the streets of shinjuku are enveloped in the most electric shade of lilac, so bright that the image almost burns onto his retinas, and then it’s just red. not a brilliant scarlet, or even a rosy sort like how suguru’s ears would burn when he would get embarrassed, but a muted, dismal red.
and then it's static silence.
a year after suguru is slaughtered, something that wears his skin finds satoru. satoru is willing to turn six blind eyes just to keep him this time around.

It’s November 2016, and Gojo Satoru has done three things: suspend the execution of a Special Grade apparition, mysteriously go missing for a little over two weeks, and then immediately resign as a teacher upon his equally mysterious return.
Or at least, that’s what the official underground sources say. Unofficially, he also sends Geto Suguru a letter requesting cooperation, proposing to create a new, non-sorcerer-free world together.
Suguru agrees to meet him, of course — when the closest thing to God sends you a missive, you can hardly ignore it — though he doesn’t think he’s making it out alive.

“Yeah! Oh, my name is Gojo Satoru, by the way.” He hides the hurt behind his teeth, his grin wide and friendly. He thought he’d only have to introduce himself once to someone he called his best friend. It’s strange to repeat words from more than a decade ago to the same person. “You can call me Satoru.” He hopes he calls him Satoru.
“I’m Geto,” he says back. You were Suguru to me, Gojo thinks. “Nice to meet you, Satoru.”
“Nice to meet you, too.” He leans against the wall beside him, tries to look nonchalant as he does. “So, do you come here often?”
Geto thinks Gojo is just a lonely guy who wants friends. Gojo just wants to know if he remembers him, even just a little bit.
