    Summary

Win thinks his roommate is not human. Gun thinks Win needs sleep.

What starts as a joke theory becomes a full-time mental hobby, complete with mental flowcharts, bad evidence, and a very inconvenient desire to keep watching.

Somewhere between fever-induced accidental confessions, roommate rules and stolen hoodies, the question quietly shifts. It stops being what Sound is, and turns into why Win keeps choosing him anyway, even if it means falling in love with someone who is suspiciously immortal-coded.

    Summary

“I'm sorry, Gun, but I really tried,” Tinn’s mom reassured him gently, "I know how much Chinzhilla meant to you."

“Maybe the band leader should’ve tried hitting on the school president,” Tinn’s dad had joked, but Gun was too crestfallen at the death of the legacy he’d worked so hard to preserve to even think about laughing.

“Where are the music lovers going to go now?” Gun wails. “Where is the safe space for the rockers of the school? How is anyone going to keep Niyomsil’s artistic spirit alive?”

“Orchestra club?” Tinn offers, and gets a smack to the head for his troubles.

Years after graduation, Tinn has the grand idea to get the band back together. It goes as he expects— it's horribly messy, unexpectedly difficult— but it's good. He wouldn't have it any other way.

    Summary

Sound turns to Win with a conspiratorial glint in his eye. “Do you want to know a secret?”

Win motions for him to continue.

“I’m cursed,” Sound whispers, his mouth barely an inch away from the shell of Win’s ear, his deepest secret spilling forth from his lips, breathed into existence in the boggy atmosphere of the tiny ramen shop. "Always have been, actually."

“Why are you telling me this?” Win asks.

“Because you won’t remember by morning,” Sound replies.

Sound meets Win for the first time in the dead of winter, in a country five thousand and seventy-two kilometres away from home. They collide. It's a brilliant, bright, burning affair— Win is absolutely perfect, and it's as if all the dreams of love and companionship that Sound's held near and dear to his heart are finally, finally coming true.

But all good things must come to an end.

    Summary

Lava had been raised on this very beach, yet he never grew bored of it. It held so many memories for him. Any spot he looked at called forth a fond moment in his life, most of them with Wave by his side. Whether they were little kids splashing in the shallow water and making sand castles, teenagers daring each other to swim out as far as possible, or adults resting on the shore. To him, the beach represented everything he loved.

Lava was just like the shore, always ready and waiting for his Wave to come back to him.

    Summary

“Are you actually going to that guy’s apartment?” Nano asked, way too loudly for the quiet library. “What if he’s a serial killer?”

“That’s why I’m telling you,” Dylan said.

But I doubt a serial killer would have sent me videos of him whimpering, Dylan thought.

Truthfully, Dylan had come around on Jun a lot over the last few weeks. So now, against his better judgement, he felt a bit bad that Jun was suffering alone, considering he’d had many prospects and turned them all down. Because Dylan had told him to. Once again, against his better judgement.

It was all because Jun seemed…different. Dylan was usually very careful, and didn’t trust easily. Especially not alphas. The way Jun acted made Dylan feel like he was more helpless puppy than dickhead alpha. Still, he couldn’t know for sure until he met him. Anyone could put on a front over the internet.
