   Summary

   Fei doesn’t understand why he has to leave the adults alone when they’re busy, but when Machos is busy, he gets taken away anyway. Maybe they can tell he’s lying, but - but - Daddy is lying too. He knows he is because no one can be busy for days and days and days until Fei can’t even remember how many, even with the tallies he draws on the wall. Daddy has been ‘busy’ for so long that he forgot to come back and teach Fei how to count past twenty. No one is that busy, so why can Daddy lie and Fei can’t?
