Alexis perks. Joy is unsettled from the pit of his chest.

The joy is stomped out. Kaiser leans across the kitchen counter and kisses him. This should be familiar; obviously, it's not the first time Kaiser has tried to manipulate him with his romantic affections. But time has passed, and they don't quite fit.
