    Taking place immediately after the end of Trigger Happy Havoc:
    How is one expected to move forward with their lives after the traumatic events of the life-threating game?

    For Byakuya Togami, this simply means to carry on as he had always lived before - emotionless and headstrong.
    Unfortunately for Byakuya, he is also a human being susceptible to emotion.
    Wanting to become a better person while maintaining his family's untouchable reputation leads to struggles, especially when he is forced to come to terms with some things about himself he would have much rather left unlearned.

    There is a lot of reference to the second trial's motive.
    Also a quick TW for possible mentions of toxic households and homophobia for later chapters.

    Makoto Naegi decides to write a letter to Togami, so they can start to have a private correspondence. The distance between them won't stop him from keeping them in contact. Begrudgingly, Togami goes along with it, and as he does he begins to become more comfortable, his innermost thoughts and feelings guiding the pen's tip. Love, confusion, desperation, all contained within thin lines of ink.

    (takes place after the danganronpa 3 anime, so spoilers for pretty much the entire series)
