For the life of him, Essek cannot figure out how it was done. He doesn’t recall so much as brushing against the other man as he escorted the Mighty Nein out of the Lucid Bastion.

I love the way the author portrays dazai's sh and the feeling of emptiness in him. And how dazai talks about his insomnia
Especially love the way chuuya's illness is portrayed, it isn't said in broad strokes and fancy words. It's shown, with the way chuuya behaves and speaks with a stutter, or taking breaths between words-- its marvelously done -
