Now it was Jayce's turn to shake his head at the nickname with a chuckle. “Thanks, Vitya.”
He said it this time, still in jest, but without the silly voice. When he looked back at Viktor he seemed a bit different, a subtle look to his face that Jayce couldn’t place. His cheeks looked pink, and the pop of color had moved to his chest. He was usually so pallid, it was almost strange to see him with so much warmth to his skin.
“Is the wine making you warm?” Jayce said with a chuckle. Viktor cleared his throat, letting out an awkward laugh.

Jayce and Viktor end up post-canon in another dimension where their counterparts no longer exist. They seek shelter in Viktor's old flat and for the first time are alone with themselves and everything that has happened. They take the opportunity to finally get to know each other on their new level of brotherly bro love.aka they fuck nasty in all sorts of different forms in the astral plane, where Viktor takes Jayce and shows him what's possible.
Note: Jayce is mainly a service top and Viktor a power bottom, but the two swap roles briefly. Viktor is male with a penis in most forms, but will also be seen as trans masc later on

Jayce wanted to pull Viktor behind him and face the intruder down himself, but Viktor was in full scientist mode and would not be deterred even if Jayce tried. A hesitant hand reached forward, Jayce watching as Viktor brushed over the large golden gear screwed tight to the inside of the man’s knee. Breathlessly, he said, “We match.”
Jayce watched his own eyes soften, expression momentarily twitching in pain as he leaned on his hammer and lowered himself into a crouch. With his free hand, he gently gripped Viktor’s chin with his thumb and forefinger. “I never thought I’d get to see you like this again, Viktor.”
