    Sirius Black, captain of the Gryffindor Lions, one time NHL Stanley Cup Champion, looking into his fourth season and (knock on wood) second Stanley Cup run, laces up his basketball shoes.

    Sirius calls Remus Moony. Remus calls Sirius pretty.

    Secrets are shared. Kisses are given. Songs are written. Basketball is played. Coffee is made. And, in between it all, Remus Lupin falls in love with his best friend's brother. And in between that, Sirius Black falls in love with his brother's best friend.

    This is NOT a texting fic, but portions of it are definitely messages and texting between characters. So... I guess you could call it half & half. More like 2/3 & 1/3. Whatever.

    Also, the Gryffindor Lions team in this fic is entirely inspired by LUMOSINLOVE's Sweater Weather & Vanciere series. Absolute must-read. Sweater Weather had me in a chokehold for a good 3 months.You don't need to have read it to read this, but I highly recommend just for your enjoyment.

    The rush Regulus felt when he looked at James was unlike any other. If he ever were to describe it, he would mention that feeling you get when dropping really low on the broom, because you’ve spotted a glint of golden light. You’re going down, down, down, at an incredible speed, not sure if you’re going to catch the Snitch or collide with the ground. The adrenaline, the unsureness, the overwhelming rush. That was what loving James Potter felt like, only a million times more intense.

    This fic is a sequel/spin-off to my Wolfstar story "Don’t Blame Me."
    It follows somewhat the same timeline but from the perspective of James and Regulus. It is not required to read Don’t Blame Me before starting this, but I recommend you check it out :)
