Summary
“...A rare treasure from my time as ruler. It is the feather of a phoenix. I wonder…” The mummified pharaoh leans forward in their seat a bit, pondering to themself. “...perhaps it may still hold the power to bring one back from the beyond…”
“...Bring someone back?” Nate asks.
“Indeed. A single phoenix’s feather can bring one back from death itself. Perhaps you may find use for it. Perhaps you never got all the answers you wanted from one who may no longer be with us…perhaps you believe someone dear to you was taken too soon, no matter the case, I’m sure at least trying wouldn’t hurt.”
“Answers we never got…”
(Small preference warning: The interpretations of Agent X and Ghoulfather in this story will be a romantic dynamic, but it is not the main major focus of the story. If you interpret their relationship as something otherwise that's fine, but I wanted to add this warning just in case its something you'd prefer not to see)

Summary
“Fine then, deal with it yourself. That’s clearly been going well.” She started to walk off. “And try to keep it down, I’d like to sleep tonight.”
Dyle let out a small huff. Though, it definitely stuck to his mind. Especially with how much he’s been trying to deal with this to no luck. God, he despised the thought of it, she cared nothing for intimacy…but honestly, he was running out of options and he really did not want to suffer through this heat for much longer.
…Ah, fuck it.

-------Good God, it's tiring. The way he insists everyone is below him. The way he forces obedience, and makes people beg for him. Just once. Just once, he's going to be shown his rightful place.
