He couldn't exactly recognise his own voice. Heck, he couldn't even feel his own throat and mouth open. Maybe this was all in his head. Maybe he was imagining everything. Yet, all he felt was nothing.
For someone who feels everything, for once in his life, he was shutting it all down. He was becoming restless with spite and hatred, each path he walks he would always wind up in the same place over and over again.
"Horrible choice, Elliot."
The Spectre would say, with the same old infuriating tone that sets Elliot off everytime he hears it.
