Summary
He knows his eyes are just as glassy, but they had to move - further away from the ruins, further away from the bloodied sky and the ashen rain. He told his companion as much, and they moved on.
To where, he doesn't know. He hasn't known where their grief would lead them, but there was a promise, a dream, beneath their skin, and it's nice to think that maybe, just maybe, there is something out there, on this accursed planet, that has clear waters and a brighter sky - a land of tomorrow where the sun rises and the moon sets.

"It's heavy." Sanji opened up to him one night, cigarette between chapped lips and quivering teeth, fingers desperately fiddling away at the lighter on hand as he tries to light the cigarette. Usopp knows it's damp, and he knows that Sanji knows, so he only nodded before looking at the sky from where they were bunkered in.

Summary
There was nothing here in the deeper levels, and he knows that all too well with himself, a Vice Admiral, taking over the shifts of some of the newer ensigns and captains holding the torch of absolute justice. He lit the end of both cigars before feeling the strained muscles on his back and shoulders loosen up. It wasn't much, but he couldn't afford to lower his guard.
He puffed out a cloud of smoke before proceeding to the lower levels. The people residing in this ship might not know, but the ship itself does.
He knows she's watching.
With heavy steps and an even heavier heart, he walked down the corridor and towards the awaiting flight of steps.

Summary
A series of non-chronological stories in the POV of the Strawhats and their allies after "The Hunt" commenced. The Hunt is basically nothing more but marines trying (and succeeding) into felling the new Pirate King's crew and their companions.
Started off with a challenge for myself to write weekly, so the qualitiy varies a lot.
