Summary

Note (2026 revision): This work was originally posted in Q3 2025 and then paused while I navigated personal grief, including my Lola’s Alzheimer’s journey, from which this novel was inspired from. In 2026 I revised earlier chapters for continuity and completed the story. If you read an earlier version, you may notice changes in tone and detail, but this is the version I consider “finished.”
