Summary
The rational part of Yuuji’s brain is screaming at him to recognize that he’s just being dramatic, that there’s no possible way Megumi could have died randomly on a Friday evening in November, but the twisted, uncertain part of his brain is just repeating the statement over and over.
Megumi could be dead.
Yuuji digs his nails into the flesh of his palm. He feels like he’s drowning in his thoughts, getting swallowed up by emotions he hasn’t felt in so long.
Dead.
Megumi might be dead during a complete downpour on a November evening.
