Summary
General Nan Yang is on a mission answering concerned prayers about a failed harvest with General Xuan Zhen, who is in disguise as his alter ego Fu Yao. For the purposes of the investigation, Fu Yao begins working at a brothel to acquire information while Feng Xin does odd jobs around town.
After Fu Yao helps Feng Xin through an anxious experience, the two of them realize that they've got something not-so-new to fight through on top of the mission: their feelings, and the fact that they've been on separate sides of the same coin for forever.

Summary
Since the fall of Jun Wu, the two generals had expressed a much greater willingness to work hand-in-hand instead of fist-to-fist. From time to time, Mu Qing enjoyed embarking on such missions as his alter-ego Fu Yao, while Feng Xin felt the same when he donned the skin of Nan Feng. Feng Xin calls for Mu Qing to assist him in a mission along the southern border. Undercover, Mu Qing acts as a master swordsman traveling with his disciple, Nan Feng.
Throughout their investigation, Nan Feng has a few realizations about his own feelings while trying to solve the mystery at hand. His politeness lands him in a troublesome circumstance, so his teacher Mu Qing must give him a lesson.
“There is no need for forgiveness between us. There is no need for apologies between gods, nor between martial brothers. We are both. Is it you who has forgotten the past?”

Goaded on by his followers to talk about the person he has a crush on during a stream, Feng Xin ends up sharing one of the poems he wrote about Mu Qing when they were in college because he'd never hear it anyway... Except he's been logged in and watching since the Q&A portion of the stream began.
