And maybe, Sean was making this a bigger deal than it actually was – how Finn would call Daniel “sweetie” and “pup” and all that shit, the way he would look at Daniel sometimes when Daniel wasn’t busy giving Finn heart eyes himself, or how he’d let his touches linger a second longer than necessary. It was subtle, probably unnoticeable if one wasn’t looking for it.
But Sean was looking for it. And every time he noticed something, the alarm bells in his head got a little louder. He hoped to God he was just imagining it.
