Summary
The mere thought of having to deal with the media, with the criticisms that will undoubtedly come with this entire situation, has him feeling as though he needs to empty his stomach over the toilet bowl for the second time today. It flashes through his mind that maybe he could call Pond or Phuwin, but the thought of having to utter the words out loud when he can barely stand to think about them himself stops him in his tracks.
Reluctantly, he looks at the pink and white stick laying on the ground, hoping he somehow read it wrong or that this is all just some stupid, bad dream.

The crowd collectively gasped but that was the least of his problems as his face screwed up in pain and tears pricked the corners of his eyes. He leaned on them the whole way as his legs felt like jello.
