“What happened now? ” Senku dropped the flask he was holding gently, his hand hovering on it while his watchful eyes didn't stray from you. He was analyzing your expression, looking for the reason why you're being unusually quiet.
You looked up and met his eyes. Behind his nonchalant gaze, you can still see the growing concern behind it. You let out a sigh as your head fell over the table.
“I messed up, Sen,” you said, full of dread while avoiding his gaze.

Summary
Valentine’s Day is a week out, which — according to Gen — is reason enough to start campaigning for a “lovers’ holiday” break from manual labor.
Senku calls bullshit. On the date, on the holiday, and especially on Gen having anyone to spend it with.
What starts as a stupid conversation about old world traditions spirals into something a lot more personal when Senku, of all people, decides to run an experiment of his own — one that leaves you holding a confession letter, a crooked bouquet of wildflowers, and exactly seven days to give him an answer.
