Summary
Some time after Wei Wuxian leaves Lan Zhan and the Cloud Recesses for the open road, he visits Lotus Pier again for the first time since the climax at the Guanyin Temple. He’s only been there for a few days, and he hasn’t managed to really meet with Jiang Cheng for more than empty pleasantries, but what he has been able to do is grow a family of frogs in Jiang Cheng’s pond. It’s not like he’s been spying, really, it’s just that the pond is in both their backyard and Jiang Cheng gave him this room, so it’s his fault!
And all the while, Yunmeng holds its breath for the storm that's hanging over the Lotus Pier to finally break.
