Summary
It would be so much easier if things between them had never gone sour, if their friends could stop feeling like they’re walking on eggshells any time the two of them are brought up, if Euijoo’s heart doesn’t feel like it’s breaking all over again every time he looks at Nicholas. But nothing is ever easy when it comes to Nicholas––it’s one of the things that made Euijoo fall for him in the first place––and getting over him has proved to be the hardest.

Summary
If Yeonjun were to pinpoint the moment he realized that his feelings for Taehyun were straying from platonic to something else entirely, he would say it was during their first year of uni, but who knows when those feelings first started brewing or what even was the inciting incident. Maybe it began when Yeonjun bought that blue baseball cap, a small fragment of something manifesting inside Yeonjun’s chest cavity that’s only going to grow even larger and more terrifying as the years go by. Maybe it had began way before then––at one of their many sleepovers, in detention, during their junior prom––
There used to be a time where Yeonjun wasn’t in love with Taehyun, but Yeonjun doesn’t know for certain when that ended.
Yeonjun and Taehyun––in a span of four days and one thousand miles.

Summary
Euijoo raises an eyebrow. “You were definitely avoiding me.” He sees right through Nicholas’ bullshit––it’s both a blessing and a curse to have someone know you so deeply. “I just want to know what I did wrong so I can make it up to you and you can stop being so skittish around me.”
Nicholas takes a moment to think. There is no universe where he could say “do you remember the time you called me hyung in a live? Well, turns out I’m a bit of a freak and I've accidentally uncovered a part of me I didn’t even know was hidden, and I’ve jerked off to the thought more times than I’d like to admit, so really it’s not your fault, I’m actually just fucking crazy” and Euijoo would be understanding, so instead he opts for, “I’m just a bit out of it––the concerts are kind of taking a toll on me.”

“Are you even a hundred percent sure that they’re dating?”
“Aside from the fact that Spider-Man literally said so, I saw him enter his apartment at, like, three in the morning. With a key,” Taehyun says. “He has a key to his place, Beomgyu. Why would he have that if they weren’t dating? And why would Spider-Man lie about it?”
Beomgyu lets out a low whistle. “That sucks for you. Maybe you can ask them if they’re up for a threesome?”Taehyun's been crushing on the hot guy that lives next door who just so happens to be in a relationship with the city's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

Summary
With Soonyoung, it’s always like this: the feeling of air inside broken lungs, a warmth in his chest that rivals the sun, trembling fingers as they pry open his rib cage to reach for his heart. Soonyoung is both the knife and the bandage, both love and loss; Jihoon was always Soonyoung’s to break.

Summary
“Great! Since we’ve confirmed it, what am I supposed to do now?” Soonyoung asks, exasperated.
“Continue on with your life as per normal?” Junhui suggests.
“How am I supposed to continue on with my life as per normal when he’s my partner for this whole semester?” Soonyoung groans, throwing himself face-down on his bed. “How are we supposed to compare and contrast written literature vs oral literature when all I can think of is, ‘Hey, I know what you look like when you come’!”

“I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about.”
“You don’t get it, Jihoon. It was so weird,” Soonyoung says, wringing his hands. “It felt so… so real.”
“Aren’t all your dreams real?” Wonwoo supplies from where he’s standing by the kitchen counter, a mug of tea in his hands, fogging up his glasses. “They’re bound to happen sooner or later.”
“I meant like it felt as if it was happening in real time. It wasn’t like a vision or anything,” Soonyoung explains. “Usually when I dream, it’s as if I’m watching a movie. This time —”
“It felt as if you were in it?” Jihoon continues. -

Summary
Jihoon remembers Soonyoung’s smile, so bright and so beautiful that even death itself couldn’t put it out, as he says to Jihoon, “Go. I’ll find you.” There’s something in his voice that doesn’t fit the situation at all. It’s hopeful, it’s reassuring, it’s a promise.
And Soonyoung should have known better than to make promises he couldn’t keep. -

Summary
Jihoon treats Soonyoung like he’s a person instead of something divine and celestial and untouchable, and for the first time in what feels like forever, Soonyoung feels almost human.

Jihoon wants to trace the little furrow in Soonyoung’s brow with his fingers, wants to smooth out his small frown, get rid of the rough edges on Soonyoung’s face because he only deserves the best; deserves the world (and Jihoon thinks one day he’d like to give it to him).
