Elphaba believes there is no one as infuriating as Galinda Upland. This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Elphaba is in love with Galinda Upland. Nothing at all. Besides, Galinda is with Fiyero. All the hand-holding, arm-linking, pet names, and cuddling are completely normal friendship things. Obviously.
