Summary
This is a series of missing scenes that add to — or resolve — the events of the episodes. Many (but not all) of those missing scenes will involve a meeting between Kirk and Spock to talk over the events of the mission after the conclusion of the episode. I'm intending these stories to focus mostly on the relationships among the characters but with no overt romance.
Each chapter is a stand-alone story, so you don't need to wait until all 79 chapters are finished to read them. :-)
Chapter 8: Epilogue for "Balance of Terror" — The events of this episode lead to lessons for more than one person...
See the Author's Notes at the end of the first chapter for the assumptions, plans, and goals that underlie this series.

In which Mark is panromantic asexual, but none of those words are spoken. Because it’s the ‘90s. Published in honor of Ace Day (see notes).

Summary
Just when everything has begun settling down, just when everyone has become complacent, they realize that the rock they've all been anchored to all this time is slowly crumbling away to reveal the vulnerable man beneath. After all this time, Mark is unraveling; who, if anyone, will be there to hold him together? Warning: self harm, suicidal ideation, etc. Eventual Mark/Roger. WIP.
