Hannibal hadn’t intended on having Will locked up, it wasn’t supposed to be this way, but it had to be. Hannibal alone, again.
Hannibal is now left to think about this change in his life, how could he feel such great loss over someone he’d met only months ago, can this really be a mere infatuation with the man? curiosity usually leads to more, but as far as love? Hannibal surely couldn’t love, couldn’t be loved. Or so he thought until he met Will Graham; one who has the potential to see all of him, but saw it too soon. Hannibal knew they needed to backtrack, perhaps confinement would allow them mutual clarity on what this connection (?) is becoming.
