Summary
Neil had been slowly sipping on a black coffee, with a sugary concoction that he had bought for Andrew next to him, working through math equations. He was sitting with his back to the wall and a clear view to the door (old habits die hard) when a man with a full sleeve of tattoos walked in, triggering the little bell on the door.
This wouldn’t have caught his attention usually, since Wymack had similar tattoos. However, by chance he noticed the slight, barely noticeable track lines on his arm. They were almost impossible to spot with the tattoos covering them, but the guy had walked right by Neil’s table, making it manageable.
Before Neil could be caught staring, he turned his attention back to his coffee, an idea forming in his mind.
