A part of Yusuke had reared back when Kurama and the others erupted from a hidden room within the main hall of Yomi’s kingdom, surprised though he knew he shouldn’t have been. A coup, as he’d learned, was very much Kurama’s style. Yusuke could waltz his way into Yomi’s territory with no problem, but a glimpse of red hair, and his heart had threatened to stop beating on him.
