“Is he your new friend?” the waitress asks, then looks at Seokjin. “You’re so handsome. Are you an actor?”
“This is Kim Seokjin. We’re renting a place together. He’s an important figure in his company,” author Kim Namjoon explains, trying to stay polite. But Jin notices how he starts fidgeting with the leash under the table. Koya, his service dog, seems to stiffen as well.
“Oh, you live together? You guys make such a cute couple.”
The conversation falls into an especially uncomfortable silence.
