Hitoshi stopped listening. He didn’t even recognize that he was running until he heard his sidekick’s voice getting further and further away, ringing out slowly as he ran, combat boots kicking mud up, leaving footprints.
“Hey! Where are you going?! Boss?!”

Keigo doesn’t let go of him, no matter what. The child clings to him like a second skin, arms around his neck, face hidden. It’s becoming annoying. More annoying than last time, because there’s no help at all. It’s just him.
He won’t let go as Aizawa makes soup, a simple chicken broth with noodles, just like last time, because Keigo’d been particularly receptive to it.
“Keigo, you have to eat something,” he insists, trying to set Keigo down in his chair. Keigo simply clings, wailing directly into Aizawa’s ear. He tries so hard to be happy that Keigo is this comfortable being vulnerable with him, that he’s no longer scared to express himself, but he can’t find it in himself. He just wants to rest, to try to sleep off whatever he’s got.
“Don’ feel good,” Keigo cries. Aizawa resists sighing by a millimeter.

Soon, Dazai was doubled over, retching. Chuuya glanced behind him, brows high and eyes lit with amusement. Dazai wasn't about to let Chuuya know he was sick, but his symptoms may have become more than he could handle.

“Dazai!” he yells, like he’s done a million times before. It feels like a million times before, at least. They’ve only known each other about a year, but this is so far from the first time Chuuya’s found him like this.
Unlike every other time, Dazai does not turn around.
