Summary
Tossing and turning at night, worrying about a man who doesn’t think of him as anything more than an acquaintance is a downright demeaning way to live, he inherently knows this. It doesn’t stop him from losing sleep over whether or not Mark has already moved onto the next big thing.
It doesn’t hurt any less when he watches Mark eat breakfast across the table the following morning, never losing eye-contact with his phone.

Summary
He turned to face Mark, and there they were together, so close he couldn’t think straight. “I love you,” Donghyuck said reflexively. “I mean. Um.” He just stared at Mark. They were still close enough to hear each other breathing.
Mark’s face went from surprise to something much more unreadable and back, finally settling on disbelief. “You’re seriously the worst,” he said. Then he let out a chuckle, sounding kind of--odd.
