When it comes down to it, here’s the thing:
Mikoto can pretend to be a good girl all she wants, but the truth is, she knows she’s nothing but bad. She lies to everyone, constantly! She makes trouble for her father! She ties down her mother! Which is why, when the moment comes, she’s not surprised, not really. Her father deserved what he got, and now Mikoto can live happily with her mom forever, right? Right?
