“You know, this whole thing has got me thinking…” Mac starts, beginning to pace aimlessly beside Dennis’s bed.
Dennis looks up at him briefly, barely meeting his eyes before returning to his reflection, eyebrow quirked in silent inquiry.
“About what?” Dennis asks.
“Oh, I don’t know… maybe going back into the closet for a little bit."
The room went dead silent. Dennis froze. His arms fell to his sides, limp. Mac stiffened slightly, sensing anger, but he has no time to prepare himself before Dennis is spinning around, gaping at him.
“What?” he hisses, eyebrows flying off his scalp.

Summary
Mac McDonald and Charlie Kelly are roommates. They're both 27, near-starvation broke on the edge of eviction, and somehow Charlie is the only one really managing to hold down a job as a janitor at a shitty bar nearby. Mac has goals, of course he has goals, but while he ruminates on them, stuck between jobs, he takes what he has to his advantage: free alcohol from his roommate who works at a bar and unlimited streams of women to choose from every night. If he sleeps with enough of them, he's bound to find one attractive enough to be tolerable, right?
