"Suvi comes in and out of lucidity. One moment she is talking to her mother, then to Steel, then Ame.
Suvi blinks and Ame is real. Suvi hears Ame say something to Sworn about how she's getting worse. Suvi wonders who they're talking about. She hopes Ame is ok."In the Shroud Mountains, Suvi asks Ame to poison her hand in a way that she can quickly fix, in order to save the Grenaux family. Ame realizes too late that she is missing the plant she needs to cure the poison. Everyone runs around looking for it while Sworn tries to get Suvi through the forest as she gets sicker and sicker.
