A few moments later, she realized that she recognized Rozanov's expression. She'd witnessed it on the faces of other WAGs when their men went down hard and had worn it herself a few times. It was the physical manifestation of her recurring nightmare - seeing Hayden hurt and thinking she was about to lose the love of her life. Nothing else existed but that figure lying motionless on the ice.

Harvey pov: This started out as a one-shot of Harvey helping Mike through his first Thanksgiving without Grammy and Mike returning the favor by walking Harvey through his issues with his mom.
Decided to add a Christmas follow-up where Mike makes good on his promise to go with Harvey if he wants to confront his mom.
I might add future holidays, but these are complete one-shots in the same universe.
This is mostly a Harvey character study that centers on him pushing past his obsession with appearances and his habit of pushing people away.

For a few moments, Ilya is ready to laugh it off with Shane as soon as he gets up and dusts himself off. Maybe even give him a hand, because no one would question the touch in these circumstances. He’s ready for his heart to resume its normal rhythm as soon as Shane smiles at him again, bruised but not too worse for wear.
But even he knows that it won’t happen, no matter what his heart hopes for.
Instead, he watches as Shane lies in a pitiful pile on the ice, completely unresponsive. In his periphery, he sees Pike attacking Cliff, and his first thought is good. Good, since he can’t. Both because that’s his teammate and because he’s not sure he can even move at this point.
All Ilya can focus on is Shane’s pale hand lying limply on the ice.

Sam and Dean are working a case in Wyoming, but are distracted by news of a dangerous angel called "Castiel" who they can't remember ever having heard of before. The name seems a little bit familiar, but neither of the boys is sure why.
Based off of mid-season 9 (before mark of Cain, before the angel army); takes place several months later, in September 2014. Case fic wrapped in a big ol' amnesia mystery. NO SLASH; the idea is that this is something they could do on the actual show, like a 3-4 episode arc with some mini cases and a cool story running through it all. GETS VERY EMOTIONAL with super strong friendship/family themes, lotsa hurt/comfort, about three metric tons of Cas angst, feels galore, plus monsters and M&M's.

It isn’t until Mike finds out Harvey’s seeing someone else that he realizes how badly he’s fucked everything up, and that the thing he’s been pushing against all this time is the only thing he’s ever really wanted.
