Minho hums to himself for a moment, then asks, "You see that star there? The brightest one."
Jisung squints, but the fog is thick. He thinks he can make out the star Minho is talking about, or at least a star, but it's gone as quickly as it appeared. "I saw it," he says anyway.
"I'm wishing on it right now. I wish my Hannie was by my side."

“You shouldn’t be here,” Jisung finally managed, voice uncertain, eyes narrowing.
The man’s mouth curved ever so slightly, calm, imperious. “Neither should you. Now move.”
Jisung raised an eyebrow, incredulous. “Excuse me? Who even are you? And who gave you the right to barge in here? Young artists deserve respect, you know! I’ve worked my entire life for this stage…”
“I’m Minho… the new security,” Minho said, voice low, almost detached. “Designated for you by festival management. You need to leave. Now.”
Jisung flailed his hands, disbelief written across his face. “I’m positively not goin’ anywhere with someone I’ve never met. I wanna call my manager!” he finished with a pout.

Summary
The words, raw and honest, are a punch to Minho’s gut.
He already knew that. Minho already knew how deep Jisung’s hurt ran. But—foolishly—he thought that this past year they spent together mended at least some of the broken parts. That he was slowly gaining Jisung’s trust again. Things were good. Too good to be true.
(Or, in the aftermath of an email Jisung never should have seen, Minho finally talks about what it was like when he left.)
