Of course it’s Johnny first, stumbling aside and sputtering a little over-the-top, swiping the back of his hand over his lips in full view of a few dozen kids and parents seated up the risers. Daniel rolls his eyes and drops the hand holding the clipboard to his side, pacing toward Robby who, to his displeasure, is already eyeing the both of them where he stands only two feet away with his arms crossed over his chest.
“Good luck kiss?” he dares, knowing the most he’ll get from Johnny is half-hearted disgust and from Daniel only uncomfortable silence.
Or: They kiss one time by accident, and somehow it wins them a tournament. So, obviously, they kiss again. And again. And again.
